You can chew some cardamom seeds to sweeten your breath.
  • Bee Stings- Bicarbonate of soda mixed with water will take out the sting and bring instant relief.

  • Cuts and grazes- Use vinegar as an antiseptic for abrasions and to reduce itch from mosquito bites.
  • Eczema- Rub a nutmeg against a smooth stone slab with a little water and make a paste. Apply on affected parts.
  • Energizer Energizing Mead recipe- Simmer 1 cup honey and 3 cup water together slowly. Allow one cup of the water to evaporate. Strain off the top surface, and put the remaining liquid into a stoneware crock or dark bottle. Put a towel over it so it can breathe, yet be free of dirt. Place in a cool place. You can add cinnamon, clove, or the juice of 2 lemons, if you like.
  • Fatigue- Take a glass of grapefruit and lemon juice in equal parts to dispel fatigue and general tiredness after a day's work.
  • Headache- Eat 10-12 almonds, the equivalent of two aspirins, for a migraine headache. Almonds are far less likely to upset the stomach
  • Heartburn- Mix 1/2 teaspoon in about 4 ounces of water, and drink all at one time. It will cause you to 'burp'; as it neutralizes stomach acid the same way it does other acids. (note. bicarbonate of soda has been effectively used as an antacid for many years, however in rare cases it has been reported that its use can contribute to the rupturing of the stomach.
  • Hic-ups- One teaspoon to one tablespoon of vinegar gets rid of hiccups.
  • Insect bites- Mix water with cornstarch into a paste and apply. This is effective in drawing out the poisons of most insect bites and is also an effective remedy for diaper rash.
This is the first part of a 2 part list that you will want to bookmark for future reference.
