 Asbestos Mould.Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral. It is composed of long, thin fibres which are mined. Asbestos is divided up into two groups- serpentine and amphibole. The uniqueness of the 2 groupings is their crystalline structure. Chrysotile chronicles for ninety-five percent of the asbestos used, and is the unique kind in the serpentine class. Commonly referred to as “white asbestos” which is its innate color.

There are five types of asbestos uncovered in the fibrous Tremolite family. Amosite is the most commonly used in this type of building material. In its natural state it is dark brown in color, and is most most commonly utilized as tube insulation wrap for older boiler pipings.

Diffuse pleural thickening - similar to above and on occassion can be concerned with asbestosis. Rarely does this cause lung impairment but generally no symptoms is demonstrated unless contamination was extreme .
