COLA KIWI STEAKS - by Debbie Hillman
Place kiwi in Ziploc freezer band and seal tightly. Mash kiwi to a pulp in bag.Add cola and combine with kiwi by massaging mixture together. Pierce steak numerous times with a fork. Add steak to Ziploc freezer bag, seal and marinate in refrigerator for 20 - 30 minutes (NO LONGER or the meat will turn to mush) Discard marinate. Season steak with lemon pepper and BBQ or broil for 5-6 minutes per side or until it reaches desired doneness.
lb beef round, sirloin tip or flank marinating steak
1 kiwi, peeled
1 cup cola beverage
1 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper

GREEK BURGERS WITH GARLIC SAUCE - by Marsha Nicholson
Mix all ingredients together then add beef. Form patties and refrigerate for 1 to 8 hours.Cook and top with sauce: Sauce: 1 clove garlic(crushed), 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 green onion(chopped) 1 tsp. Lemon juice. Combine and refrigerate for up to 2 days.

Scramble hamburger and onions in frying pan until done, drain grease. Stir in salsa and spread on bottom of 9 x11 glass dish. Mix sour cream with taco seasoning and pour on top of the hamburger mixture. Lightly cover with 1/3 of the cheese. Add layer of shredded lettuce. Add layer of diced tomatoes. Top with the rest of the cheese. Start dipping with tortilla chips.

32 oz. low fat sour cream
1 package of taco seasoning
