LAZY PEROGY Place 5 cooked noodles on bottom of pan (9X13). Mix cottage cheese, egg and onion salt.
Spread over noodles. Add another layer of 5 noodles. Mix cheddar, potatoes, salt and pepper.
Spread over noodles. Cover with another layer of 5 noodles.
Melt butter and sauté onions. Pour over noodles. Bake for 30 mins. At 350°F. Let stand for 10 mins

 


Lasagna noodles — 15 cooked
Cottage cheese - 2 cups
Egg — 1
Onion salt 1/4 tsp.
Grated Cheddar — 1 cup
Cooked mashed potatoes — 2 cups
Salt and pepper to taste
Onion salt 1/4 tsp.
Butter or Marg. — 1 cup
Chopped onions — 1 cup

BAKED RICEMix all ingredients together. Add Other veggies if desired. (mushrooms, carroLs, broccoli, peas) Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350F in a covered pan. If adding meat, add at the last 1/2 hr.

 



3 cups Uncle Ben’s long grain rice
3 1/2 cups Chicken or beef broth
1/2 cup Soya Sauce
1/2 cups Oil
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped pepper, any colour
1 1/2 cups chopped chicken, beef or pork (optional)

BAKED BEANSMix first 5 ingredients together and put into an oven proof bowl. Put the bacon slices over the top. Cover with tin foil and bake for about an hour. (remove foil for the last 15 min.) Particularly good served with ham. Tastes and smells like you’ve slaved for hours making home made baked beans.

 

 

2 (14 oz) cans pork and beans
1 (14 oz) can kidney beans
1/2 cup ketchup
1 onion shopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
6 slices bacon (partly cooked)
